I would call it differently than 'exposes'... it doesn't feel quite right there, but that is just me.
I like how poignant this piece is and how the title is somewhat fitting of both the main subject matter and the bird itself.
I feel as if there should be an apostrophe in 'birds', but.. yeah. o.O
